I’m sure you’ve seen a bunch of Eric’s collection of Willy’s Jeeps at his place up in NY. He is a great friend that I actually met through eWillysand has been buying a bunch of really great PTO related stuff from me over the years. Last weekend he took a trip down to see me with a few of his friends Todd and Todd’s son Conner, He also came tobuy a really great little 52 CJ3A Farm Jeep complete with full PTO; complete Monroe three point hitch setup;,a set of Dual Wheel Adapters; front counter weight; Right Angle Drive Drum Pulley; and a couple of Cord Wood Buzz Saws. Super great hanging out with these guys and Im quite sure the Jeep and parts went to a good home.

“350 Chevrolet V-8 engine, Turbo 350 automatic trans, independent front suspension, 8″ Ford rear end, power front disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering. 12 volt, the motor has an Edelbrock aluminum intake & valve covers, HEI distributor late model Jeep wrangler sport rims, interior has an S-10 seat, electric wipers, heater, Pioneer CD/Bluetooth, CJ-5 gauges, hinged bed cover.
It has an older repaint, still looks good, but obviously is not flawless.
A few chips here and there, but perfectly presentable for a driver, slight crack in pass side window, (new glass included in the sale).
This truck is dependable, it runs, stops and drives great, it would make a perfect motorcycle hauler, cruiser or shop truck. ”

There are lots of new parts everywhere on this that I didn’t list; I have a folder with stacks of receipts and invoices for new parts. Runs, drives and stops well. Definitely not perfect, but a lot better than most ’52s out there. I don’t have to sell this, but I’ve taken on another Willys project and could use the room in the garage. I am just trying to see if there’s any interest out there.

Has a variety of updates.

“This is my 1949 CJ3A Willys Flat fender Jeep. I’m really sad to let it go however I have far too many toys in my shop and its time to make some room. Jeep is powered by a 4.3 Vortech V6 fuel injected motor. Fires right up and runs like a top! It has headers and side pipes and sounds awesome. Its backed by the factory T90 3 speed manual transmission and Dana 18 Transfer case. Jeep has Dana 44 Axles front and rear with 5.38 gearing and a locker in the front. Front axle has a disc brake conversion and power steering conversion as well. It really drives nice to be 67 years old! The interior was just pulled and the floor was coated with POR15 and the interior was put back in. The seats are from Beachwood Canvas and all gauges are newer and work, new gas tank and electric fuel pump, the brake master cylinder was recently rebuilt. The Jeep rides on a newer 4″ Superlift Springs that are nice and soft. The tires are BF Goodrich Mud Terrains with 67 miles on them. The wheels are from Pro Comp and are just as new. Has recessed rear taillights, newer windshield frame, heavy duty front bumper and lots more. The Jeep is really nice however it is 67 years old so don’t expect a brand new vehicle. ”

“I have a running and driving 1947 Jeep CJ2A available for sale with a clean Montana title. Located in Butte Montana. Very nice jeep but not perfect. Starts right up and drives well, 4 x 4 works great low and High. Does not have original motor or tire and wheels. From what I cam tell it a late 60’s Buick V6 in it now. I have only owned it a few months and do not know a lot about jeeps. I do know that it sure does turn heads when ever I am out driving it. I have noticed a few thing since I have owned it and they are listed below. P. S. original mileage is unknown
Known problems are.
1- Emergency cable is disconnected or missing
2 Small oil leak at timing cover
3 small anti freeze leak at thermostat or upper hose
4- Fuel gauge does not work
5- Electric cooling fans are controlled by a on off switch.”

“This Willys has a good running motor. The inside and outside has been Kevlar coated. This particular Jeep does have a PTO winch. We have quite a few of these and other miscellaneous projects at my shop right now. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Long story short?
